Building Hope For Heroes

The Official Capital Campaign Kick-Off Dinner Benefiting Tyler’s Redemption Place on Friday, October 30, 2026 from 5-8PM at Guy’s Party Center in Akron.

Join host Patrick J. Darrow – longtime Labor Leader of Teamsters Local No. 348 in Akron, Ohio, President of the Ohio Conference of Teamsters, and Central Region Vice President-Elect – for an exclusive evening dedicated to honoring our veteran community in Summit County.

We proudly honor the legacy of Tyler’s Redemption Place and its founder, Travis W. Bornstein – a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and longtime labor leader serving as President of Teamsters Local No. 24 in Akron, Ohio. Together, we are launching a vital campaign to construct Heroes Hall directly on the organization’s property. Be part of this foundational effort to support those who served.

All proceeds directly fund the development of Heroes Hall – a new, dedicated space providing critical healing, resources, and improve support for veterans struggling with a substance use disorder and mental health challenges.

SAVE THE DATE: 2027 Tyler Bornstein Memorial Golf Outing

Please join us for the annual Tyler Bornstein Memorial Golf Outing, a 4-Man Scramble held in honor of Tyler and in support of the recovery community. This next outing will take place on Saturday, August 14, 2027, at Sable Creek Golf Course.

Sponsorship Opportunities: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Recovery, and Hole Sponsorships will be available. Families may also honor a loved one through Memorial Hole Sponsor Signs. Registration will be open soon!
