Peer Support
Peer Recovery Supporters use their own recovery journeys to build trust, reduce stigma, and help you feel understood.

Peer support fosters empowerment, connection, and meaningful steps toward change — not treatment or clinical services.
What Peer Support Is
Peer support is a non-clinical approach where people with lived experience of a substance use disorder walk alongside others facing similar challenges. At Tyler’s Redemption Place, peer support is always:
How Peer Support Helps
One-on-One Support
Our Ohio Certified Peer Recovery Supporters meet with individuals privately to listen, encourage, and help them navigate next steps. Together, those they support set goals, create wellness plans, explore resources, and build confidence in their recovery journey.
Navigation & Resource Support
Peers help individuals and families connect to treatment, housing, employment resources, community programs, and other supports that strengthen stability and well-being.
Hope Through Shared Experience
Because peers have walked their own recovery paths, they offer understanding that feels real, relatable, and judgment-free. Their lived experience helps people feel less alone and more hopeful about what’s possible.
